TECHNICAL & CONSULTANCY SERVICES

The PFFI and Cottage Industry Technology Center (CITC) of the Department of Trade and Industry has established and operated the Philippine Footwear Academy (PFA) within the premises of CITC Compound in Marikina City. The idea of the establishment of the academy aims to provide the industry with technology transfer and skills training, technical consultancy services, and common facility services.

PFFI members can avail of technical assistance from local experts and foreign trained experts on product techniques, product improvement and, product development/prototyping. Also be advised on issues concerning safety and the environment involving the shoe industry.
