PFFI and Philexport signs MOA on WGSN

The Philippine Footwear Federation, Inc. (PFFI) and the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT), an umbrella organization of Philippine exporters mandated under the Export Development Act to develop and implement export-import programs and projects have entered into agreement to strengthen the Philippine footwear industry and in turn to respond to the needs of the PFFI members through market information and intelligence.

The PHILEXPORT shall subscribe to a cost-efficient Worth Global Style Network (WGSN) package and a number of the accounts under this subscription shall be allocated to qualified non-profit industry associations and Chapter.

Meanwhile, the PFFI expressed its interest and put a counterpart fund for WGSN subscription and was given one (1) account for the footwear industry association.

WGSN is an internet-based information resource catering to the lifestyle sector (wearables, leathergoods, housewares and furnishings) is available for subscription and was funded under the Export Promotion Fund under Export Development Council.

This unique working tool closely mirrors the footwear industry's product development lifecycle, supporting and enhancing your footwear design, merchandising and marketing needs.

PFFI members can use, search and research thru internet on a per hour basis with a minimal fee per usage of network and may request extension depending on the needs of each member who will gather his/her appropriate information and other relevant documents he/she may need. One WGSN account will be installed to a one dedicated computer in PFFI to deliver a maximum and efficient performance to this network.
